Iain Paterson

Iain Paterson is one of the leading Helden-Baritones of our time. In the current season he will sing Wotan/Wanderer at the Opéra National de Paris in a new production of the Ring Cycle by Calixto Bieito under the baton of Philippe Jordan. He will sing Wanderer in Siegfried again at the Deutsche Oper Berlin in a new production by Stefan Herheim conducted by Donald Runnicles and return to the English National Opera as Wotan in Die Walküre. He will perform the title role in Der fliegende Holländer, Wotan (Die Walküre) and Wanderer at Oper Leipzig and Jochanaan (Salome) at the Munich Opera Festival.
